Tīeke - wings up / Saddleback - by Luke Jacomb

Belonging to the unique wattlebird family, the Tīeke can be found in both the North and South Islands of Aotearoa. Both species of Tīeke are critically endangered, with only approximately 650 South Island Tīeke currently in existence. Rescued from extinction in the 1960, the population is currently recovering under the careful care of the Department of Conservation.

• Dimensions (approx.): L/ 20cm W/ 12cm D/ 12cm
• The Saddleback is larger than our other species.
• We have two styles of Saddleback - Saddleback and Saddleback(wings up).
• Available in a variety of colours, please note that the colour variants displayed may be of different bird species. 
• Cast glass with set screw fitting. Can be mounted on any type of wall.
